Feast it Forward is turning up the volume this summer with its LIVE IN THE YARD: Summer Event Series, a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and community in the heart of downtown Napa. Taking place at 728 First Street, this open-air series invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy an unforgettable season filled with dynamic performances, wine, food, and social connection.
Running from June through October, the series highlights nationally acclaimed soul, funk, and dance acts, such as :
- August 15 – Cold Blood
- September 6 – St. Paul & The Minneapolis Funk All-Stars
- September 26 – Haphazard Dance Band
- October 11 – Spike Sikes & the Awesome Hotcakes

The Blue Note presents Grammy Award winning R&B and soul singer and songwriter Chrisette Michele on Saturday, June 21, at 6:30 and 9 p.m. and Sunday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m. She has just launched her brand-new podcast “Come Back Sis.” She’s weathered the journey of a 15-year career topping the Billboard Pop and R&B charts, collaborating with artists from Jay Z to John Legend and touring the world. She’s experienced cancel culture firsthand, love, marriage and divorce and the stigmas that come with adult ADHD and Bipolar Type 2, all in the public eye.

Braxton Cook at Blue Note
The Blue Note presents Braxton Cook on Friday, June 20, at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Cook is an Emmy Award-winning artist and exciting emerging voice in the jazz world. He grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 2013, he was selected as a semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition. In 2015, he graduated from The Juilliard School where he studied jazz composition. While at Juilliard, Cook toured with Grammy Award-nominated trumpeter Christian Scott and became a long-term member in Christian’s band. He has also toured and performed with Christian McBride Big Band, Jon Batiste and Marquis Hills.

Teatro Alebrijes del Valle brings Spanish political drama to Bookmine
Teatro Alebrijes del Valle will present a Spanish reading of Enemigo del Pueblo, a powerful adaptation by Andrés Agustín Barrera inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s 1882 classic, on Sunday, June 22, at 2 p.m. and Monday, June 23, at 6 p.m. at Napa Bookmine. The reimagined drama explores themes of truth, deceit and social accountability in a modern context, challenging audiences to reconsider what it means to be “an enemy of the people.”

Bill Walden and Friends at Barnhouse Brews
Bill Walden and a few friends will be sharing music at Barnhouse Napa Brews on Sunday, June 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. Walden, a seasoned singer-songwriter (and senior pastor at Cornerstone Ministries of Napa Valley), brings a soulful, storytelling approach to his performances, alternating between piano and guitar.
