S.R. Laws at Palisades Saloon

S.R. Laws comes to the Palisades Saloon on Tuesday, May 13, from 6 to 8 p.m.  Laws draws inspiration from artists like John Hiatt, Rodney Crowell, Neil Finn, Chuck Prophet and Ron Sexsmith. Growing up in Northern California, he developed a unique connection to music early on. His father worked as a trash collector, and he would spend hours sifting through bags of discarded 45 records.  He embarked on a pilgrimage to Austin, Texas, with two suitcases and $500 in his bank account. His goal was to dive into the music scene and learn from fellow songwriters.  These days, he resides in Sonoma County, working as a touring artist and singersongwriter for his rock band, The Heartsleeves.
