Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth celebrates the day (June 19, 1865) when some of the last slaves in Texas were notified of their manumission. Now it’s become a celebration of Black history, culture and contributions Napa Juneteenth Freedom Day The 2025 Napa Juneteenth celebration takes place on Thursday, June 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Veterans Park in downtown Napa. Join the fun and learn about the importance of Juneteenth, celebrate freedom and resilience and support black-owned businesses. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic-style dinner to enjoy with music by DJ Tony Sparks. Nonfood vendors will be present, as well as special guest performances and activities for all ages. Check in at Deuces Market at 10:30 a.m. Sip on unlimited Schramsberg sparkling wine (while supplies last) and nibble on snacks as you cruise into wine country. Arrive in St. Helena or Yountville (TBD) to explore, shop, lunch or strut. Arrive at Decant at 3:30 p.m. for a karaoke contest. The final stop is at Deuces Market at 5 p.m. for a drag show to end the day with a bang.
