With the continued popularity of Napa’s event line-up in December, which draws locals and visitors alike, the city has decided to add even more entertainment this winter season. This year, Downtown Napa will literally be aglow with lights!
For the first time, visitors will be delighted with a spectacular new arts event called the Napa Lighted Arts Festival. This illuminated art walk will light up the streets, buildings and nighttime sky of Napa while art displays in lights twinkle on buildings and homes nearby. The curators of the festival hope the event will showcase the innovation of light technology and its role in today’s art scene.
The arts festival will include nine original works of art commissioned from individual artists, consisting of lights displayed around Downtown Napa and the Oxbow District. Some featured artwork will also include interactive music. The free, open air festival is taking place December 9 – December 17 from 5pm-10pm, and all ages are welcome to attend.
As the City of Napa’s local arts continue to flourish, this event brings art to the center of the city and gives people a reason to continue patronizing them through the cooler winter season. Let your imagination run away at the Napa Lighted Arts Festival for a one-of-a-kind experience. Book your trip today!
