The Old World Inn consists of 6 main buildings: Cabernet House, one Private Cottage, and the Suites House next door. Across the street, a larger main house and 2 Craftsman cottages are available.

The Cabernet House was built in 1906 by E.J. Doughty. It stayed within the Doughty family for years before converting to the “Napa Valley Bed and Breakfast” in 1979. It has central air conditioning for the warm Napa summers and fireplaces for the romantic winter nights. The Private Cottage is popular for romantic getaways.

As one of Napa’s first bed and breakfasts, the Old World Inn is known for two things: home-style food and friendliness. The Old World Inn consists of complete concierge services, complimentary wine tasting passes and hors d’oeuvres. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies are served upon check-in, a wine reception is available at 5:30 p.m. and chocolate desserts are available every evening. The morning breakfast is irresistible.
