This new and different format Landmarks walking tour is led by retired local judge, native Napan and author Raymond Guadagni. He shares his memories and anecdotes about growing up in Napa’s very own “Little Italy” neighborhood located east of downtown. Guadagni highlights the homes, businesses, lives, lifestyles, and personalities of Napa’s Italian American community as featured in his book, “The Adventures of the Squeezebox Kid.”

However, the tour begins in downtown Napa in front of the former Fagiani’s Cocktail Lounge and Liquor Store, now Avow Restaurant, on Main Street. The site of one of Napa’s most infamous murders. Guadagni, who presided over the murder trial in 2011, wrote the book, “The Napa Murder of Anita Fagiani Andrews: A Cold Case That Caught a Serial Killer.” (Both books will be available for purchase and personalized autograph at the conclusion of the walking tour.)
