Where is the Napa Farmers Market

The Napa Farmers Market is located in downtown Napa at the southern gateway to Napa Valley’s world-famous Wine Country, at the 1100 West Street parking lot. (Locals might remember this as the past site of the Cinedome Movie Theater. The market is easily accessible from the surrounding neighborhoods. It is four minutes off route 29, and situated nearby Napa River.

Those driving to the Napa Farmers Market can find parking in the parking lots adjacent to the market’s location at 1100 West Street in downtown Napa. There is also street parking available to the public on the surrounding streets.

Napa Valley produces fruits and vegetables of superb quality, year-round, thanks to same warm Mediterranean climate that ripens its world-renowned wine grapes. This harvest makes the Napa Farmers Market a world-class destination for locally harvested goods, distributed by the over 60 small regional farms nearby. Depending on the season, these offerings can include farm eggs, wild-caught seafood, pasture-raised meats, fresh-dug potatoes, heirloom apples, juicy raspberries, Delta asparagus, Asian basil, and more! In addition, local artisans showcase unique handicrafts and speciality-food vendors sell handmade pastries, honey, cheeses, granola.

Weekly Activities

Beyond just shopping, the Napa Farmers Market puts on several activities for the entire family to enjoy. The weekly chef demonstrations show visitors how to cook amazing, nutritious meals at home using the fresh, in-season products found that that weeks market. The weekly children’s activities provide a fun program to educate about healthy eating and local agriculture. Our resident Napa County Master Gardeners demonstrate gardening tips and answer questions to help solve your gardening dilemmas. In addition, regular special events occur throughout the season. Special food drives and collections also occur weekly to help those in need, homeless shelters and seniors to enjoy healthy, high-quality food.

Are Pets Allowed at the Napa Farmers Market

Services dogs are welcome, but pets are not allowed at the Napa Farmers Market. Since the market is a temporary food facility regulated by Napa County Environmental Health, like all restaurants and grocery stores, state health and safety codes stipulates that animals are not allowed at Certified Farmers Markets.
