Yachtley Crew at Uptown Theatre

JaM Cellars presents Yachtley Crew at the Uptown Theatre on Friday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. Yachtley Crew is a seven-piece Southern California band that burst onto the club scene in 2017, selling out countless local venues before starting a nationwide Yacht Rock craze. They encapsulate the revival of soft rock and Top 40 hits from the late ’70s to the early ‘80s like Looking Glass’ “Brandy” and Rupert Holmes’ “Escape (The Piña Colada Song).” It has become a nationwide phenomenon, inspiring fans to dress the part and sing along.
