Wine Wednesday at Cadet

Winemaker Cadet presents Wine Wednesday featuring a winery, winemaker or marketer each week at 5 p.m. Michael Cruse of Cruse Wine Co. is the guest on May 8. Cruse is devoted to producing California table wines loyal to their origins. He does this by sourcing grapes from vineyards planted to unique varieties such as Valdiguie, Carignan, Tannant and St. Laurent, and showcasing the qualities of the fruit as a part of a field blend or single-variety wine, often with bubbles. Cruse is many things: a scientist, winemaker and deep well of knowledge. Come pick this Californian’s brain over a flight of his easy-to-drink wines.
