Weekend Youth, Panic is Perfect and Cactus & Oak at the Blue Note
Weekend Youth, Panic is Perfect and Cactus & Oak play the Blue Note on Thursday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m. Weekend Youth is a new alternative pop-rock band from Napa. They’ve shared the stage with OneRepublic, SirSly, and Imagine Dragons and sold out their debut headlining show at the Blue Note. Panic is Perfect’s sound is a mixture of dance rock, Afro-beat and ‘60s pop influences set around introspective lyric writing and catchy melodies. Multi-instrumentalist Mike Hoffman writes and produces all the recordings, but the band is a tight-knit group of long-term collaborators that feels more like a family than a band. Cactus & Oak is a wolf pack of kindred spirits hailing from Napa covering rock, pop, soul, country and everything in between. Nathan Danforth’s command of the human voice spans from his uncanny ability to mimic voices to his wide vocal range and dexterity.
Tickets are $22.50. Blue Note, 1030 Main St., Napa, www.bluenotenapa.com
