Truffles and more at La Toque
In addition to its 12th Decadent Truffle & Barolo Dinner with guest chef Carlo Zarri on Sunday, Nov. 24, plus Thanksgiving (no Christmas), La Toque has some other gourmet dinners coming up: Chef Ken Frank will debut his 43rd annual All Black Truffle Menu on Wednesday, Jan. 8. They will have two truffle menus available, one with meat and seafood and the other fully vegetarian. These spectacular menus will only be available from Wednesday. Jan. 8 through Sunday Jan. 26. They haven’t even posted a price yet, but if you’ have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. (I know I can’t.) They do sell out, however. Book your table today. Last but certainly not least, La Toque welcomes the winemaking team from Penfolds in Australia for a special dinner with some rarities from their cellar on Friday, Jan. 24.
