The Workshop at the Blue Note

The Blue Note presents The Workshop with Roger Volz on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 8 p.m. When people think of band leaders bringing musicians together, encouraging them to be themselves and contributing to the music, many music lovers will think of Miles Davis, Art Blakey, Spencer Davis and John Mayall.  But here in the Bay area, Levi Lloyd was the connective tissue between varied and talented musicians.
