The Napa Valley Youth Symphony spring chamber concert

The Napa Valley Youth Symphony’s Spring Chamber Concert returns to The Jarvis Conservatory on Saturday, March 9, at 7 p.m. Two groups will perform, Sinfonia and Napa Youth Chamber Ensemble. Sinfonia Director Debbie Walden leads the ensemble with two arrangements from the great works of Ludwig von Beethoven, “Ode to Joy” (from Symphony No. 9) and “Egmont Overture.” Also, an adventurous finale awaits you with “Medieval Legend” (a fantasy for orchestra) by Michael Story. Yasushi Ogura returns as Napa Youth Chamber ensemble director and head coach. The Napa Youth Chamber Ensemble will perform Trio No. 5 in C major, K. 548 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Violin and Cello in B-flat Major, RV 547.
