The Golden Age of Rioja with Martin Reyes MW and Hiram Simon

Join the partners behind Winewise Imports for the second annual tasting of the Golden Age of Rioja at Compline on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This walkaround tasting features a dozen wines made from 1950-2004, sourced directly from cellars in Spain. You’ll get to try some legendary stuff, culminating with a pair of López de Heredia Gran Reserva red and white wines.  The cost for the tasting is $150.  Afterward, you can enjoy The King of Spain’s paella, the Valencian dish served to King Felipe VI with rabbit, chicken, artichoke, tomato, saffron, beans, sofrito and aioli.  The ticket price includes one whole paella plus a set of traditional Spanish tapas for the table.
