Tasting and dinner with Ross Cobb at Compline
Ross Cobb comes to Compline for a tasting and dinner on Thursday, Nov. 7, starting at 7 p.m. His parents, David and Diane, planted Cobb Wines’ first estate vineyard (Coastlands) in 1989 and watched it become a sought-after source for Pinot Noir in California. Cobb made wines for some of the greats: Williams Selyem, Flowers and Hirsch. He debuted his own label in 2001. He will show four current releases at the Wine Shop. Following the tasting, walk over for a dinner at the restaurant paired with older vintages of the same four wines. The cost is $195 at complinewine.com.
