Summer black truffles return to La Toque

Truffles are back on the menu at La Toque, with its All Black Truffle Menu: Summer Edition returning this week.   With winter’s chill setting in, fresh black truffles are heading our way from Chile and Australia.  A standout is the decadent Black Truffle Sandwich, with a full ounce of fresh black truffle between two slices of Model bakery pain de mie slathered with Normandy butter and a scrape of Brillat-Savarin cheese.  As always, truffles are also showing up on both the a la carte and tasting menus. For the truly obsessed, the all-black truffle menu summer edition ($295) and its vegetarian version ($200), will begin on Wednesday, July 9, and run through Sunday, July 22.
