Smooth jazz at the Blue Note:

The Blue Note presents two smooth jazz musicians teaming up for one night only when Brian Simpson and Jackiem Joyner perform on Friday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.  Keyboardist and composer Brian Simpson has worked with names like Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, Norman Brown and Boney James through the years. He’s also has worked with stars outside the genre, touring the world with Janet Jackson and collaborating with Anita Baker. Simpson has frequently touched the upper reaches of Billboard’s Smooth Jazz and R&B charts, and he has become a go-to music director for many lauded jazz events. Joining him onstage is saxophonist and music producer Jackiem Joyner, who has also set the bar high during his career as a performer.
