Sativa January at Napa Yard

Sativa January performs live acoustic music at Napa Yard at Oxbow Gardens on Sunday, July 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. She plays original indie dream folk songs in and around Napa Valley. She released her first single, “Lightning and Fire,” in 2023 and “Lament of the Mayfly” in 2024. Both songs are from Blood Essential, an album in (slow) development.  Originally from Austin, January holds an MFA in creative writing from New York University, where she, taught undergraduate creative writing and served as fiction co-editor for Washington Square Review.
