Pho at Compline
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Matt Stamp is taking over the Compline kitchen to prepare classic Vietnamese pho for everyone from 5 to 9 p.m. The price includes a bowl of good-for-the-soul pho (beef or vegetarian broths available) and all the fixings — Thai basil, green and red onion, mung bean sprouts, citrus, sriracha, hoisin and more for the table. There’s no better wine for this classic broth than Riesling, especially with some age. Add a flight of four aged Riesling to pair with the dish or choose from a selection of mature wines by-the-glass when you arrive. The cost is $30 for a bountiful portion of pho. Reserve your pho.
