Pavlo at the Blue Note

: World music artist Pavlo plays at the Blue Note on Friday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 and 9 p.m.  He will be joined on stage by his band. Pavlo Simtikidis, often called simply Pavlo, is a Greek Canadian guitarist who plays a Mediterranean sound mixing the folkloric styles of Greek, Spanish and Latin music with pop influences.  He was born in Toronto and the son of Greek immigrants,  Pavlo comes to the Blue Note after filming his fourth PBS TV concert special live in Santorini, Greece.  Blue Note, 1030 Main St., Napa, www.bluenotejazz.com/napa
