Pasta Social Demonstration Cooking Class – Aug 11
Learn to create pasta on August 11 from start to finish with our gourmet chef at the Ackerman Heritage House! This class is open to the public and therefore you will have an opportunity to meet other curious minds while embarking on this educational experience. Utilizing a class setup of both demonstration and hands-on cooking, you will receive a complete guide to creating an elegant and complete pasta dish that you can prepare when cooking at home. Watch as the chef demonstrates creating the pasta dough and talks through the finer points of pasta making. Enjoy your tasting plate of hand-made pasta in our outdoor courtyard dining space while sipping a complimentary tasting pour of our Memoir red blend wine. Our intimate class accommodates up to 10 guests.
Event Features:
-Chef-led demonstration to create homemade pasta by hand
-A demonstration of creating the dough mixture
-Hands-on learning of rolling, cutting, and shaping your pasta
-A demonstration of cooking the pasta and dressing it
-Learn how to dress your pasta with a simple sauce/seasonal veggies
-Al Fresco dining in the courtyard after the class with your pasta dish creation *weather permitting
-Enjoy a 2 oz pour of 16 Memoir (red blend) to pair with the dish and enjoy during dining after the class
-A digital copy of chef’s recipe
