White Wines of the Côte de Beaune at Compline

Master of Wine Mary Margaret McCamic leads a virtual tour through the white wines of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune at Compline Wine Shop on Thursday, June 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  Through the lens of seven wines, you’ll gain a better understanding of the key villages for white wine production, how they show typicity in the glass and how to evaluate quality in one of the world’s most fascinating wine regions. Featured wines will be from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pernand-Vergelesses and CortonCharlemagne.  McCamuc became a Master of Wine in 2016, earning the Bollinger Medal for the highest tasting score in addition to the top overall score on all parts of the exam. She is the sales manager for Screaming Eagle and the general manager for Karolus Wine Imports, which represents Domaine Bonneau du Martray in the United States.  In 2024, she founded Chasing Burgundy, an online education platform focused on the wines of Burgundy.
