Napa Hometown Band will be in concert on May 4, at The Napa Yard- Oxbow Gardens, 585 1st St, Napa. The show is at 6:00 and admission is free. The Napa Yard is a family friendly restaurant and beer garden. The program is Movie Music. The band will be performing music from The Avengers, Star Wars, Back To The Future, Mary Poppins and much more. A few TV themes will be included, too.

Odd Fish at the Jarvis Conservatory

Our May selection is Odd Fish from Iceland. It is a comedy/drama that was nominated for many international awards. The film will open at the Jarvis Conservatory, Napa on 5/17/25. Our Showcase is the first to open the theatrical run in the USA.

Synopsis: When two childhood friends get an unexpected opportunity to keep their fish restaurant open all year round, one of them comes out of the closet as a trans woman, putting a strain on their friendship and they see their lives in a new light.

Make it Funky is a monthly vinyl DJ party @ Folklore dedicated to the classic sounds of funk, hip-hop, 80’s and disco. This month, we’ll be hosting a special tribute to the late great pioneer of the jazz funk sound – Roy Ayers!

Sunday Funday at Tonewood & Courage

Tonewood & Courage is experimenting with a new event with our neighbor business Deuces Market for an afternoon of music, coffee, drink, food and fun on Sunday, April 13. From Noon until 3:00pm both businesses will have music going. Tonewood & Courage will have Napa’s Rivertown Ramblers with special guest Joe Shotwell on drums onstage, while DeucesMarket will have a DJ spinning dance tunes. The First Street Promenade behind the Archer Hotel will be alive with great music and folks enjoying the community that Tonewood & Courage and Deuces Market are creating in our respective and shared outdoor spaces.
