Outer Space Wines with Cantadora Winery

Outer Space Wines is honored to welcome Cantadora Winery and its founder and winemaker, Kira Ballotta, on Friday, November 18, from 5 to 8 PM.

Kira will pour and discuss her three 2019 Cantadora wines she crafted from “Shake Ridge Ranch” in Amador County.
Kira founded Cantadora to explore her love of crafting Rhone-style wines. Her priorities are making age-worthy wines sourced from organically farmed grapes, packaged and shipped in sustainable ways.

Cantadora translates to “storyteller,” and each label shares the story of women giving back to our community in extraordinary ways. This inaugural vintage supports La Casa de las Madres, A Place of Her Own, and UC-Davis Center for Poverty & Inequality Research. The Cantadora ring symbolizes the ripple effect of the collective efforts of these remarkable women.

You’ll enjoy Cantadora “The Sage,” a Grenache/Syrah/Viognier blend, “The Healer,” made mostly from Mourvedre, and the Tempranillo-based red “The Protector.”

The Cantadora wine tasting in Outer Space is $25. Wines sold for 10% off during the tasting.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the non-profits represented by the women adorning the labels:
La Casa de las Madres, A Place of Her Own, and UC-Davis Center for Poverty & Inequality Research.

Wine-friendly snacks will be served. Music is provided by Napa’s very own DJ SNEAK-E PETE.
