SPAIN IS CALLING! And it’s in Cali… Orixe Sotelo is a wine project by Gustavo & Jackie Sotelo based in Sonoma, California in 2019. Orixe (o-REE-shay) is a Galician word from Latin “origo” meaning: “beginning, source, birth, origin”. Their name, Sotelo, originates in the coastal mountains of Galicia, Spain. O.S. is the lens through which they aspire to expand upon California’s wine culture, specifically through the use of Spanish grape varieties.
