Napa vs. Sonoma…Zinfandel

Outer Space Wines is trying out some new event formats, and A vs. B is one of them.  The idea is to compare two comparable things: Napa Cab vs. Bordeaux, Cali Chard vs. White Burgundy. Generally, it’s a region vs. region, new world vs. old world format. For the first iteration, Napa and Sonoma Zin face off on Friday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m.  While Sonoma is generally revered for its Zin, Napa has some great old parcels that shouldn’t be ignored. Taste wines from vineyards including Teldeschi, Craighead, Mounts, Green & Red and Dickerson. The tasting costs $30. Judge the Zinfandel Face Off.
