NAPA TOWN & COUNTRY FAIR 2023
he 2023 Napa Town & Country Fair runs Thursday, Aug. 10 through Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa. Gates open at 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. The 2023 Napa Town & Country Fair features returning favorites such as The Napa Valley Vintners Wine Lounge, The Umpqua Bank Kid Zone and Playspace, Clover Stornetta Ag Alley, The Makers Market, Adult and Junior Arts and Crafts Exhibits, as well as crafters demonstrations, livestock exhibits, camel rides, karaoke contest and fun selfie spots. New attractions to the fair in 2023 are an expanded carnival including two roller coasters, and five new kid rides. Other new attractions include Cook’s Racing Pigs, pony rides and a petting farm. The livestock auction will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12, complete with an interactive ag exhibit where guests will learn directly from the source. Auction registration opens at 8 a.m., and the auction starts at 9 a.m. Livestock shows begin Tuesday, Aug. 8, and are free prior to the opening of the fair. Musical entertainment is included with entry. Headline acts on the Joe Anderson Plaza Stage include the legendary Jefferson Starship on Thursday, country star Craig Morgan on Friday, the electronic sounds of Cheat Codes on Saturday and Banda Machos and Banda Maguey closing out the fair with a technobanda show on Sunday. The Bandstand Stage will feature tribute bands each day, and the Locals Live! Stage returns for 2023, highlighting Napa Valley performers. New entertainment includes several shows daily by master hypnotist Tyzen and on Friday a drag show with sounds by DJ Rotten Robbie.
Advance tickets are $10, $7 for military, seniors (60 and over) and youth (6-12), $15 general admission/$12 military, seniors and youth at the gate. Those 5 and under are free.
Opening day Thursday is free for kids and youth 12 and under and seniors (60 and older). Carnival wristbands (unlimited rides) are $35 in advance, $45 on site. Advance tickets and carnival wristbands are available until midnight Wednesday, Aug. 9, at www.napafair.org. Group ticket sales are available and parking is $10 per vehicle.
