Napa Independence Day Happenings

Napa has a number of activities including a parade, a community celebration in Oxbow Commons and fireworks.

  • Napa Sunrise Rotary hosts the annual 4th of July parade on Second and Third streets; it kicks off at 10 a.m. See napa4thofjulyparade.com for details.
    • If you want a great view of the parade, Be Bubbly will provide seats along on Second Street for $15 each, applied to beverage purchase.

  • The Independence Day Celebration at Oxbow includes a free Kids Zone with inflatables, carnival games and a magic show.  The food court features tacos, pizza, hot dogs, salad wraps and sweet treats. At the evening Salute to America, Mayor Scott Sedgley will welcome the crowd, and an honor guard will present the colors during the National Anthem.

The Main Stage Music will offer the following:

• 3 to 4 p.m.: Papa Joe and the New Deal

• 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: La Gente SF

• 6 to 6:45 p.m.: Notorious

• 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.: Salute to America

• 7:15 to 8 p.m.: Notorious A fireworks spectacular begins approximately at 9:15 p.m.

Prime viewing areas will be from downtown Napa and along the Napa River.  There will not be any viewing areas open to the public on the Napa Valley Expo property.
