Napa County Library to host Comic Con Geek Out

Geeks are taking over the Napa Library at the second annual Comic Con “Geek Out Napa Valley” on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This all-ages event is a haven for enthusiasts of technology, gaming, arts, crafts and spirited discussions, embracing creativity and fandom. The event will feature artists, authors, local merchants, live music, a costume competition and food vendors. It will extend out into the front parking lot. Featured artists and authors include illustrator Darick Robertson (The Boys), illustrator Matt Gaser (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), author Mike Chen (A Quantum Love Story), author Andrea Stewart (The Bone Shard Daughter), author Sarah Gailey (The Echo Wife) and author Charley Jane Anders (All the Birds in the Sky). This year’s attractions include live music from Invincible Star Jazz, discussion panels and a costume competition. Geek Out Napa Valley is free and tickets are not required for entry.
