Napa County Historical Society presents The Valley Beautiful: Music
The Napa County Historical Society presents The Valley Beautiful: Music, the second in the series of exhibits telling a three-part story about Napa Valley’s beauty and how cultural pride and a sense of community have employed architecture, music and art from historic times until today. The Valley Beautiful: Music opens to the public on Friday, April 4, and runs through Sept. 20 at the historic Goodman Library in downtown Napa. This exhibit explores the Valley through the lens of music. From the valley’s vibrant festivals and venues to its deep-rooted connection to community building and education, music is a testament to the valley’s cultural legacy, celebrating both its past and present in harmony. The Valley Beautiful: Music follows the initial exhibition in the series, which focused on architecture. Jose Chavez, Janis Adams. The final exhibit, The Valley Beautiful: Art, will follow in the fall.
