Jarvis Conservatory presents For the Love of Music, an evening with international mezzo-soprano Rachel Deatherage on Saturday, April 15, at 7 p.m.
She’ll be joined by mezzo-soprano Veronique Kherian and Frank Johnson, pianist and musical director of It’s a Grand Night for Singing.
This concert will be a blend of operatic arias, art songs and Broadway numbers. Deatherage has returned to her California roots to perform for only a few short months before her return on tour in the UK this summer. She will perform music ranging from La Cenerentola to Candide. Veronique Kherian will also be there to sing French songs.
