Matt Matthews at the Uptown – Standup Comedy

Stand-up comedian Matt Matthews comes to the Uptown Theatre on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.  During the pandemic, Matthews’ hilariously raw social posts and short-form videos earned him more than 3 million followers on TikTok and 1 million on Instagram.  Matthews discusses a variety of topics and personal experiences, including his daily life of living on a farm, growing up as a gay man in Alabama, his career as a boudoir photographer, relationships and taboo sexual encounters.  He also brings his popular “Confessions with Matt” video series to the live stage, where he provides a comedic take on audience members who voluntarily spill their deepest, darkest secrets.
