Lydia Pense and Cold Blood at the Blue Note

Lydia Pense and Cold Blood take the stage at the Blue Note on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Cold Blood made a significant mark on the San Francisco Bay Area music scene with its signature funky R&B sound.  Fronted by vocalist Lydia Pense, the band was formed in 1969 and was one of the first to be signed to producer Bill Graham’s record label, San Francisco Records.  Blue Note, 1030 Main St., Napa, www.bluenotenapa.com
