La Gente SF at the Blue Note

The Blue Note features La Gente SF on Friday, July 5, at 8 p.m. La Gente SF was born in San Francisco and is led by Rafael Bustamante Sarria. The group, now based in Madrid, Spain, has created its own blend of world music, cumbia, reggae, salsa and reggaeton. Their music and live shows fuse rhythms and cultural influences from all over Latin America and the Caribbean with a distinct San Francisco flavor.
