Jarvis Conservatory screens the documentary film “John Singer Sargent – Fashion and Swagger” on Saturday, May 11, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. John Singer Sargent is known as the greatest portrait artist of his era. What made his “swagger” portraits remarkable was his power over his subjects, what they wore and how they were presented to the audience.
