Jet Black Pearl at Folklore

Jet Black Pearl brings her unforgettable accordion mastery to Folklore.  Originally from The Netherlands, Jet found her first accordion in Prague and carried it back home.

Not only is Jet an accomplished accordionist, she writes, sings and makes quirky vocal effects to complex original songs!  Jet has performed in big tops, prisons, living rooms, tunnels, garden sheds, barges and ruins all over the world.  She spent many years in France and just when the French started to give her songwriting awards, she moved to Portland, Oregon.

Now she sings in French and English, but always with a Dutch accent!

Bordering on avant garde, yet somehow easily accessible to the listener, Jetty is one act you will never forget!   Don’t miss her!
