It’s a Grand Night for Singing at Jarvis

Jarvis Conservatory presents “It’s a Grand Night for Singing” at 7 p.m. on Feb. 1.  Each program features professional vocalists as well as promising professional talent of tomorrow. Singers from the San Francisco Bay Area (and beyond) perform excerpts from opera, musical theatre, cabaret and zarzuela.  The performers:

    • Soprano and host Rachel Walter-Steiner has appeared at venues like the Green Music Center and Ukiah Symphony.
    • Pianist Chris Alexander has worked with local theater companies, toured internationally and played for San Jose State Chorale and Redwood Symphony.
    • Bass-baritone William O’Neill has spent nine seasons with the San Francisco Opera Chorus, where he has taken on feature and other roles.
    • Trumpeter Daniel Gianola-Norris, performs with the Santa Rosa Symphony and also plays ukulele and didgeridoo
    • Mezzo-soprano Sadie Sonntag is the conductor of the Petaluma Women’s Chorus and a music educator for the Forestville Union School District.
    • Baritone Aidan Pryor’s repertoire spans roles like Javert (Les Misérables) and Uncle Fester (The Addams Family).
    • Soprano Sylvia Whitbrook has a range of theatrical experiences from Michael Hobbs (Elf The Musical) to the Broadway Artists Alliance.
