Home Winemakers Classic

The 42nd annual Home Winemakers Classic is on Sunday, July 14, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Marriott Napa Valley. The event, an annual fundraiser for the Mt. Veeder Fire Safe Council’s wildfire mitigation community outreach programs, features home winemakers who cannot sell their wines. So unless you know one personally, this is your only opportunity to taste them and talk to the winemakers directly. Some of the wines are submitted for professional judging and analyses as well, and the ribbon winners are announced. The silent auction, which is at the event as well as online for those who can’t be there, features some of the most outstanding California wines and tours, restaurants and other treasures.
