Heritage Halloween Tulocay Cemetery Tour

Napa County Historical Society presents the 2026 Heritage Halloween Tulocay Cemetery Tour on Saturday, October 24th, from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. Sponsored by Napa County Landmarks, this special event takes place at Tulocay Cemetery, located at 411 Coombsville Rd. in Napa, CA. Tickets are $30 for NCHS Members and $45 for non-members and can be purchased at napahistory.org/events.

Among the oldest public cemeteries in California, Tulocay Cemetery in Napa was founded in 1857 on the Juarez Tulucay Rancho. It has continuously served the Napa community for generations.

This 90-minute walking tour begins at the cemetery’s Juarez Building, just inside Tulocay’s original gates, and loops through some of the oldest sections of the cemetery. Along the way, guests will hear the stories of Napa’s historic figures who helped shape Napa’s history. The tour is led by a knowledgeable Tulocay Cemetery intern, and complimentary maps and whisper headsets are provided so participants can hear every word clearly.

Please note: although the paths are paved, the cemetery terrain includes steep and hilly areas, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Guests using scooters, walkers, or other mobility aids should ensure their equipment is suitable for inclines.

This event always sells out, so it is advised to purchase tickets early.
