Georgian Wine and Food Tour at CIA Copia

The Georgian Wine Association and the Georgian Consulate in San Francisco present an exciting tour of regional wine and foods at CIA at Copia. Join us for an evening of wine tastings and a special presentation on Georgian wine with noted Napa wine author, Paul Wagner, as well as food stations to sample dishes from innovative Georgian chefs from Georgia and around the United States. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Old World vintages or new to the innovations that are happening in the world’s oldest wine-producing region, this event will expand your mind and your palette in unexpected and delicious ways.

The featured chef will be Chef Guram Bagdhoshvili, a chef with a large international following who is the executive chef of restaurants in Georgia and host of numerous culinary TV shows. Chef Bagdhoshvili is in Napa especially for this event accompanied by his assistant. The two are preparing a variety of regional Georgian dishes paired with specially-chosen Georgian wines.
