Dinner with Penfolds at La Toque

La Toque hosts Steph Dutton, the senior winemaker for Penfolds in Australia, on Friday, Jan. 24. There will be four vintages of Grange, from great years, going back to 1990.  They are also sending a couple of other special Cabernet Shiraz “bins” that have never been in the U.S. They will pour their first single vineyard wine from Howell Mountain.  Dessert is paired with the 50-year Rare Aged Tawny Series One, which reaches back to the 1915 layer of the Solera with only 330 bottles for the entire world. The menu will feature big bold flavors to accompany these exuberant wines.
