Decadent Truffle and Barolo Dinner with chef Carlo Zarri
La Toque offers its 12th Decadent Truffle & Barolo Dinner with guest chef Carlo Zarri on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 5:45 p.m. La Toque welcomes back Zarri from the Villa San Carlo Hotel in Cortemilia, Piedmont’s unofficial capital of truffles and hazelnuts. He arrives each year with the most pungent luggage in Italy to join chef Ken Frank for a memorable white and black truffle menu paired with older Barolos from his family cellar underneath Villa San Carlo. They have been collecting their friend’s and neighbor’s best wines for generations and he has chosen four Barolos dating back to 1979 to serve with dinner.
