Con Funk Shun comes to the Blue Note on Friday, April 11, at 6:30 and 8:30, and Saturday, April 12, at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Con Funk Shun is an R&B and funk band from Vallejo formed in 1969. They were influenced by funk progenitors James Brown and Sly and the Family Stone.
