Compline blind tasting classes

Compline conducts blind tasting classes in its wine shop on Tuesday, Jan. 9 and Feb. 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. They’ll discuss approaches for objectively evaluating the sight, smell, taste and structure of four classic wines (two whites and two reds). They pour wines that showcase variety and region typicity and could be considered “classic” or “fair game” on an intermediatelevel CMS or WSET exam. Whether you are new to wine and still learning basic tasting vocabulary or are a seasoned pro getting ready to sit for a higher-level exam, this class is designed to bring together students of all levels in an interactive, collaborative roundtable format.
