We’re featuring a flight of bubbly from not one, but two legacy Champagne houses this week with Joshua Benjamin from Demeine Estates here to share all the effervescent info on these well-established producers.

Philipponnat is cementing over 500 years as winegrowers with 20 hectares of estate vineyards in the heart of Champagne. Today, Philipponnat’s organic/biodynamic farming and winemaking is overseen by the family’s 15th generation. Similarly, Francois Legras was born into a family with 400 years of grape growing experience in Champagne. Together with his wife Brigitte Haas, he founded Legras et Haas, farming 18 hectares of estate-grown fruit. Presently, Legras et Haas is run by their three sons who continue the family’s commitment to expressing the beauty of the region. You know the way to our hearts and we know the way to yours.
