Bob’s Ranch Block Party at Walt

Walt Wines will have a release party for the 2021 vintage of its flagship Pinot Noir, Bob’s Ranch, at its downtown Napa Tasting Room on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will get behind-the-scenes insight into the micro-parcellation and the individual blocks in the wine. Asian fusion cuisine and additional wines from the Walt portfolio will be offered.  Bob’s Ranch Pinot Noir was named after Kathryn Walt Hall’s father, Bob Walt. The Bob’s ranch estate vineyard is in the Sonoma Coast Appellation. The cool climate influence from the Pacific Ocean, via the Petaluma Wind Gap, offers cooler temperatures and brisk winds.  Tickets are $150 and include lunch plus an open Bob’s Ranch Pinot Noir wine bar. For more information and tickets, visit www.waltwines.com/bobs-ranch-release.  Walt produces single-vineyard Pinot Noir wines from appellations stretching from as far north as the Willamette Valley in Oregon, through Anderson Valley, the Sonoma Coast, Carneros, Santa Lucia Highlands to the Sta. Rita Hills of the Santa Barbara County.
