Assyrtiko Masterclass with Tegan Passalacqua and Matt Stamp
Learn all about Greece’s greatest white grape, Assyrtiko, and taste a selection of six wines from its home in Santorini and elsewhere at Compline Wine Shop on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Discover the variety, its history, its native home and the excitement it holds for winemakers confronting a warmer world. This is a seated, guided flight led by Tegan Passalacqua of Sandlands, who has just released his first Assyrtiko bottling, and Matt Stamp, who’s been finding every excuse to return to Santorini for the better part of the last 10 years.
