Artists reception at Jessel Gallery

Jessel Gallery introduces two new artists, Peggy Francis and Robert Frank, on Saturday Oct. 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. Meet the artists, view their work, hear their stories and celebrate creativity with fellow art lovers

• • Peggy Francis says “Each painting I create feels like a personal journal entry—what begins as a familiar image or character soon transforms through layers of color and texture into something far deeper, revealing hidden insights from my subconscious and universal truths that connect us all.”
  • Robert Frank says, “As a Napa-based oil painter trained in architecture and fine art, I create representational landscapes that reflect the quiet beauty of Northern California’s coastal hills, wooded preserves and vineyard-covered valleys.  “Influenced by the California Impressionists and the plein air tradition, I’m especially drawn to the region’s muted golds, rich greens, and hazy blues—hues that guide my exploration of texture, mood, and the way light transforms a scene.”
