Aneesa Strings at the Blue Note

The Blue Note presents Aneesa Strings on Saturday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.  Aneesa Strings is a bassist, vocalist and composer from Oakland. She began playing professionally and recorded her first jazz album at 13. Strings is a creative thought leader, singersongwriter, performer, influencer, music director, professor and composer.  After studying jazz and music theory and acquiring degrees from USC and Michigan State University, Strings has scored and led music in the jazz, pop and R&B worlds.
