African American art discussion at Dorian Webb

In a perfect complement to the Blue Note Black Radio Experience (previous item), Dorian Webb will host an “In Conversation” with renowned gallerist Thelma Harris, the owner of Thelma Harris Art Gallery which specializes in works by contemporary African American artists.  The event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1  from 1 to 3 p.m. at Webb’s fine jewelry store in First Street Napa.  Forming the backdrop for the discussion will be works from Harris’s gallery, which includes two-dimensional works as well as sculpture available for the first time in Napa. They will be on display through Labor Day.
